Six Things To Do While Being Stuck in Quarantine

The idea of having to stay at your home for a long period of time doesn’t come easy for some of us, even knowing that staying in your home is or the sake of your health and other people’s health. 

With that being said, one person staying at one place with minimal contact outside, and living with the same people under one roof, it can make a person go crazy with boredom, or just plain crazy.

 

So instead of laying in bed, being bored, here are some things you can do while being in the house, besides doing the classwork that school assigned.

 

DIYs

Try out some of those DIYs or tutorials you found on Instagram and YouTube, even if they may look dumb, it doesn’t hurt to try.

 

Play board games

Everybody knows how long it takes to finish a Monopoly game. Now that you have nothing but free time, this is a perfect opportunity to start and finish a game of monopoly. But if you have more board games, that would be great to play with our family. 

 

Watching TV

Watching stuff on TV can be a great way to use your time, you can always find stuff on Netflix, or even start an entire movie marathon if you really wanted to. Nothing is stopping you now.

 

Read books 

If you really wanted to do this, you could also read a book or two. For all you people with a stack of books you bought at the bookstore four months ago, this is the perfect time to catch up. 

 

Spring Cleaning  

It is always refreshing to do some spring cleaning. It keeps you occupied and it’s a good way to find old clothes to donate, stuff to organize and make rooms look pretty.

 

Find new hobbies

It is quite astonishing to see people being stuck in quarantine find their inner creativity and finding new things they like doing. During this time, it is a great time to find new hobbies that you could do while being stuck in the house.  

 

Buts also remember to be healthy. Just because we are all stuck in our houses doesnt mean to stop being healthy. Remember to get a good breakfast, and eat healthy and do some activities that will keep you moving throughout the day.
