Senior Information Guide: All the things you need to know from Senior Day

Senior year is packed full of things to do, and with all the events going on sometimes it’s hard to keep up with it all. Here is everything from the senior information day that you need to stay informed:

  • After prom, the party keeps going on at Dave & Busters. The event is open to all seniors and their guests, and it’ll be on April 27 immediately following the prom dance. Purchase a ticket for you and your guest starting early; ticket sales opening in February. Prize drawings will be open to all seniors, and you can earn more points by volunteering at project prom events leading up to the event.
  • Keep up with updates about prom on social media on the following platforms: Facebook – The Morton Ranch HS Project, Class of 2019 Twitter – @mrhsclass19, Project Prom Twitter – @MRHS2019PP, Instagram – mrhs2019pp. Potential Prom themes are Gods and Goddesses or Midnight Masquerade, and the winner will be announced at a later date.
  • Homecoming is coming up with the game on Nov. 2 against Seven Lakes High School with the dance following the next day on Saturday, Nov. 3. The week of Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 marks homecoming spirit week with the following spirit days: 10/29 – Decades Day, 10/30 – Culture Day, 10/31- Character Day, 11/1 – Texan Day, 11/2 – Purple Out.
  • Don’t forget to buy your Senior Spirit wear. Turn your orders into the Senior Office, room 2620, by the deadline on Friday, Oct. 26. Short sleeves are $20, long sleeves $25 and hoodies $30.
  • While at it, don’t forget to make a note about the senior trip. Seniors are oing to Typhoon Texas on May 16, from 8 am to 2 pm. Your permission slip must be signed and returned with a cash payment, and students must reach academic and disciplinary requirements. Early bird deadline for the discounted $35 price is due by Friday, Nov. 2. Final deadline, for the slightly more costly $40, is due Friday, March 29.
  • You only get one chance to go through senior year, so make sure to keep up with all the events and deadlines coming up to make the most of your last year here!
